OUR STORY is one of 2nd and 3rd chances becoming more than we could imagine.
It began in the heart of Memphis, Tennessee in the early 1980s. Papa Parker opened Hogwild Restaurant and hand wrote recipes that would become legendary. In the 1990s, his son, Mark, kept his Memphis pit bbq roots and re-opened Hogwild in the Ozark Mountains of SW Missouri. The restaurant thrived, and became known as some of the Midwest's best barbecue. It's still talked about today.
Three generations later, Mark's son, Jason, treasures those restaurant memories of family, blues music, and cooking amazing bbq. But he knew the secret was never in a building. It was in those recipes that his grandfather and father brought to life and passed on to him. Now we can share a taste of family history with you and keep the Hogwild motto alive, "We're not famous, but we're tryin'!"
